Mobile Phone Applications
Mobile phones have been around for longer than we think, but one thing that separates the modern ones we use today from the devices of yesteryear are the abundance of applications that we can implement with mobile phones. These applications have made them highly versatile devices that can be used in various different situations and for many different purposes.
Of course mobile phones have the ability to make a phone call; that much is a given. However the devices are associated with an array of other applications. We do not need to speak to each other to communicate on mobile phones, we simply need to text each other or use email. It could be argued that mobile phones have become equally as associated with texting as with phoning.
The applications do not end there. We can now use mobile phones to surf the internet, take photos, create videos (some come with their own editing software), play video games, tell the time, set alarms and reminders, record sounds, listen to radio and control other media devices.
Mobile phones are hugely popular because of the applications they possess, meaning they are going to be around in some form way into the future.
